 Adult Cornhole League Coordinator

Salary/Benefits: $14.00/hour Part-Time


GENERAL PURPOSE
Under supervision, performs a variety of job tasks related to athletic leagues and operations.  Perform public interaction duties including enforcing / interpreting sports rules, policies and coordinate beverage sales.  Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.  Leagues are held weeknight evenings.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in running adult cornhole league play
Set up and tear down league cornhole boards, tables & chairs
Answer questions or direct the pubic to supervisor on duty.
Perform light league related maintenance as needed.
File and process league standings.
Operate point of sale system and coordinate beverage sales
Other duties as assigned

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must have the ability to deal with large groups of people. 
Must possess good communication skills. 
Computer knowledge and application skills are desirable 
Must be able to work weekday evenings. 
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms.  The employee frequently is required to sweep, stoop, bend, sit, talk and hear.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.  Exposure to cleaning chemicals may occur.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally may work outside. The employee will  operate audio visual equipment. 

Concession Worker

Title: Concession Worker (Part-Time)
Department: Recreation Department
Hours: 8 - 29 hours/week
Salary/Benefits: $11.75/hour DOQ No benefits
Schedule: Flexible depending upon the needs of the City and Special Events

GENERAL PURPOSE:
Position requires an individual to have customer service skills, a positive attitude, knowledge of food preparation and safety, accountability for balancing a cash register and ability to assist with location inventory controls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area, following rules and regulations for food and beverages.
Maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times.
Provides great customer service.
Interacts with customers and clients in a pleasant and professional manner. • Stocks inventory and reports needed restocking orders to supervisor.
Provides set up for private parties.
Maintains Concession and eating area cleanliness.
Performs all other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Basic working knowledge of food and beverage preparation and safety.
Ability to accurately count and handle money. Working knowledge of cashier.
Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
Positive attitude and neat appearance.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the general public.
Commitment to providing a high degree of customer service.
 Ability to work productively without constant supervision.
Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to effectively meet and deal with the public; ability to communicate effectively verbally; ability to handle stressful situations, including handling irate customers with tact and diplomacy
Regular attendance is a crucial function of this position.
