The REAL ID Act requires IDs issued by a state to meet federal security standards.
On May 7, 2025, U.S. Travelers must be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities.
Learn more here >> U.S. Passports and REAL ID page.
The U.S. passport book and passport card are both REAL ID compliant.
If you don't have a REAL ID, check with your state on how to apply for one or consider applying for a U.S. passport book or card.

Eligible U.S.
citizens can now renew their passports online at: travel.state.gov
on the Renew Online page.
NOTE: The City of Plymouth does not offer Passport Renewal services.
