City Road Conditions as of 4:30 p.m.

City Municipal Services crews have been working on clearing streets throughout this snow storm.  In fact, they started yesterday afternoon when they "brined" the major streets, in advance of the storm.  Today, they have been working at plowing and keeping all Major Streets open and currently roads are slush covered.

Crews will be plowing all residential streets late this afternoon and into the early evening. Municipal Services requests that residents keep cars off of the residential side streets to allow plow crews plenty of room to work.  There may also be some additional plowing or "clean up" work in the early morning of Thursday.  As a reminder, please do not push, blow or shovel snow back into the streets once they have been plowed.  You could create a hazard and then be legally responsible for any injuries or damages.

Drivers should be advised that they should use extra caution on any hill or incline as there may be a layer of ice/slush under the snow and this will affect stopping distance.  Plan significant extra stopping space between you and the car in front of you.

Also, Please Don't Crowd the Plow!  Please give snow plow operators plenty of room to work.

Ice arena rentals at the Plymouth Cultural Center Ice Arena are on as scheduled. Fitness classes have been canceled for the evening.  If you have a flight out of Metro Airport tonight or tomorrow, call your airline for the latest information.
