Rouge River Watershed cleanup volunteers needed

Volunteers are needed to help clean the Rouge River Watershed on Saturday, May 14 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Smith Elementary School, located at 1298 McKinley St. Lunch will be provided at noon.

Families and volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate.  We will be conducting invasive species removal, trash/debris removal, and storm drain stenciling.  Gloves, hand tools, trash bags, and yard waste bags will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own hand tools, but no power tools are allowed.
