City Road Conditions as of 12:45 p.m.
Published on Jan 2, 2022 12:47

At this time the City Department of Municipal Services is finishing the plowing of all residential side streets.  In addition, crews have completed snow removal on many of the public properties in the City, including Kellogg Park and Starkweather Park.

All major streets in the City are clear and wet at this time.  All municipal parking areas have been cleared, including the on-street parking areas in the Downtown and Old Village areas.  Municipal Parking lots are also clear and have been de-iced, including the Central Parking Deck, East Central Lot, Wing/Harvey and the Plymouth Cultural Center.

Residents are reminded to not push, shovel or blow snow back into the streets once they have been plowed.  This action would be a violation of city ordinance and could create some liability on the part of the property owner.  Residents and property owners are reminded that snow must be removed from sidewalks adjacent to your property within 24 hours of a snowfall.  Your cooperation is appreciated.

County Roads around the City have been plowed and are snow covered or slush covered as of noon today.   This would include Sheldon Road, Ann Arbor Road, Mill Street and Plymouth Road.  North Territorial and Five Mile Road have been plowed and treated with road salt.
