City Commission Meeting Summary - September 7

The Plymouth City Commission authorized the hire of a new police officer at its regular meeting held September 7, 2021 at Plymouth City Hall. The new full-time hire will replace an officer who retired earlier this year.

The City Commission confirmed the emergency replacement of an air conditioning unit at the Department of Municipal Services building. On August 18, the unit that services the locker room and lunch room areas failed. Contractor Miller Boldt replaced the unit at a cost of $6,200.

The City Commission also appointed two new City board members at Tuesday's meeting. Shannon Perry was appointed to the Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors and Eric Stalter was appointed to the Planning Commission.
