City Road Conditions as of Noon

The Snow Team from the City Department of Municipal Services is now on the road and responding to the current light snowfall that we are experiencing.  Drivers are urged to use caution on roads as they may be slick.

City crews are responding with a combination of road salt and a liquid brine solution.  The brine will help "activate" the road salt and make it much more effective and that will allow us to use less road salt.  For your safety and the safety of our employees we ask that when you are driving in snow conditions to please "don't crowd the plow" and give our crews plenty of room to work.
