Snow Removal Update & Emergency Status

Department of Municipal Services (DMS) crews started early this morning and will complete the clearing and treatment of all major city streets by 12:00 p.m. today. Streets are being treated with a mixture of road salt and brine.

• Snow Emergency: Remains in effect until 12:00 p.m. today.

• Parking: On-street parking may resume when the emergency alert expires at 12:00 p.m., or once your street has been plowed.

• Safety Reminder: Michigan law requires drivers to stay at least 200 feet behind working plow and salt trucks.
