City of Plymouth has declared a SNOW EMERGENCY in effect from 3:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

The City Manager has declared a Snow Emergency for the City of Plymouth, in accordance with the City’s Snow and Ice Control Policy and public parking ordinances.

During a Snow Emergency, parking on any public street is prohibited, including for vehicles with overnight parking permits. No vehicles may park overnight in any City parking lot during this time.
Municipal Services First Responders will be working throughout the night, and streets must remain clear for snow plowing operations.

Residents and property owners are reminded not to blow, shovel, or push snow into the street, especially after it has been plowed. This violates City Ordinance and creates liability for the property owner. Snow should be placed on the tree lawn—the area between the sidewalk and the curb.

Drivers must also remain at least 200 feet behind any municipal snowplow or salt truck. Please don’t crowd the plow.
The goal of declaring a Snow Emergency is to clear the streets—not to issue tickets. However, the Plymouth Police Department will issue violations to any vehicle parked on a City street during the Snow Emergency or within 200 feet of an operating plow or salt truck.
