City Commission Meeting

January 07, 2002

A regular meeting of the Plymouth City Commission was held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2002 at the Cultural Center, 525 Farmer St., Plymouth, Michigan, 48170.



PRESENT:   Mayor Bill Graham, Mayor Pro-tem Colleen Pobur; Commissioners

                     Dan Dwyer, Michele Potter, Stella Greene, Ron Loiselle, Phil Pursell


ABSENT:    None


Also present were City Manager Paul Sincock, various Department Heads, staff members, City Engineer and residents.




City Manager Sincock introduced Terry McGinn, Senior Consultant, Career Directions, and explained that he would be facilitating the Goal Setting Session and it would involve a number of key City Staff Members.


Mr. McGinn explained that he was going to help the Commission reach consensus on its most critical issues for the coming year and propose a four-step process.  He explained that they would list all the potential issues, narrow them down to priority concerns, work in subgroups to propose a plan, and review and discuss the plans in the full group.


Mr. McGinn stated that he would submit to the City Manager the priority list that was established by the Commissioners and be available for any further consulting they might ask him to do.





Hearing not further discussions, the meeting was adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
