City Commission
Meeting Information
The City Commission meets the first and third Monday of every month or as needed at 7:00 p.m. The meetings take place at City Hall, 201 S Main, on the second floor in the City Commission chambers.

The City Commission meetings are videotaped for broadcast on the local cable stations. Currently, the meetings playback on Wide Open West - Channel 10, on Wednesday and Friday, at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm. In addition, they also playback on Comcast - Channel 18, on Wednesday, at 9:00 pm. If you do not have either cable services, you can purchase a copy of the meeting at City Hall.

2012 City Commission Goals
  • Resolve last issues regarding dissolvent of Plymouth Community Fire Department (primarily pension issues)
  • Formalize plan to reduce employee legacy and health care costs while maintaining quality, competitive wage and benefit package for our employees
  • Finalize work with the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) regarding potential alternatives to increase downtown parking stock
  • Police services increased as a safety issue
  • Improve the manner by which potential developments flow through various city boards and processes
  • Make final decision regarding dispatch service and implement that action plan
