2015 Street Improvement Program - Resident/Business Information Packet

The City of Plymouth hosted a resident informational meeting about the 2015 Road Paving on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. City staff and representatives from the City's engineering firm were on hand to explain details and answer any questions regarding the 2015 Road Paving.

The following streets are scheduled for repaving this summer:

- Karmada, from Farmer to Junction
- Church, from Penniman to Union - Roe, from Hamilton to RR Tracks
- Virginia, from Maple to Fair - Provincetown, intersections only @ Gloucester, Old Salem & Lexington
- Scituate, intersection only @ Lexington

New FOIA Regulations In Effect

The Public Act 563 of 2014 makes significant changes to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Beginning July 1, 2015, Michigan legislation requires public bodies to establish specific written procedures and guidelines for FOIA requests, including a separate written summary informing the public on how to submit FOIA requests, how to understand the public body's responses to FOIA requests, deposit requirements, fee calculations, and avenues for challenging and appealing the public body's denial of a request.
